In July 1896, seven young Korean scholars studying at Howard University left a recording in Washington that is now regarded as one of the oldest audio records of Korean voices in human history. This archival treasure preserves the earliest known form of our traditional folk song, "Arirang."

The trailer opens with these young men from 1896 gathered around a phonograph, listening intently to the strains of Arirang. The narrative follows their arduous voyage across the Pacific on a massive sailing vessel to a foreign land, ultimately bridging the gap to the year 2026 and the modern-day stage of BTS. This cinematic journey connects the seven youths of the past with the seven members of the present via the "Red Thread of Fate," visually illustrating the transcendence of Korean identity across time and space to reach a global audience.

‘Baby Ari’: A Linguistic and Spiritual Cipher
